TEXT PRODUCTION: What would I do if I took a gap year?
If I took a gap year, despite of spending some quality time with my family and taking some time to rest, I would probably dedicate that free time to do one of the things that I love the most to do, which is travelling.
Since I can remember I think about going in a world trip, not alone cause I don’t think that I’m that adventurous, but with a few of my best friends, and it would be for sure more fun than going alone I think. Since fortunately I’ve travelled a little bit, and I already went to a few numbers of countries, I would go to those places that I always wanted to go and I never had the chance, like Australia, Argentina, India, USA, Canada, etc. Of course doing this type of journey it´s not easy financially, so maybe I would get a small job in which place I would be, and to not spend money in hotels and boarding houses, I would do a thing that I’ve always found really interesting, house exchanges, which consists in switch place with a person that stays in your house while you stay in her’s.
I think a gap year it is an amazing experience to have before getting back to studies, it is a great way to meet different people and know diverse cultures, and it could help you decide what are you going to do in the future and improves you as a person and as well ensure your personal development. So I think a gap year is a thing to put on my “to do” list.
